Mother's Heart Children's Home
On July 2003, our founder Mama Ine, opened her heart and home to her first child. The baby, just a few months old, was born to a young mother who, due to societal pressures, could not care for her child. Ibu, moved by compassion, welcomed the baby into her home, offering a safe and loving environment. Over time, more young women in similar situations sought Ibu’s help, and her generosity knew no bounds. She opened her arms to their children as well, creating a nurturing home for them to grow and thrive.
Today, we at Mother's Heart Children's Home care for 12 children who came to us between the ages of 0 to 9 months old. These children, though not born to Ibu, are cherished as her own. With the occasional support of family and volunteers, we dedicate all our energy, love, and resources to ensuring these children feel safe, cared for, and loved.
Why We Need Your Help
While we are grateful that some of our children have received school sponsorships, there are still ongoing expenses that need to be covered. Monthly school fees, including administration and extracurricular activities, are essential to the children’s education and development.
Additionally, daily household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and caring for 12 children are overwhelming for Ibu to manage on her own.
Our home operates entirely on the kindness and generosity of donors. Mamma Ine has been collecting and saving money through the years from people donating big or small. Contributions, whether big or small, directly impact the lives of the children. Your support will help ease the daily responsibilities and ensure that the children continue to receive the care they need.
A few months ago, with the help of a donor, we began constructing a new home for the children to provide them with better living conditions. The project is still incomplete, and additional funding is needed to continue the project. Currently, all 12 children an Ibu are living in a small apartment, and your contribution could help give them the space and comfort they need and deserve.
